My name is Liz Adams, I am a bookbinder in Roanoke, VA. Frustrated with mass produced ready to use books that are poorly made, inferior in material quality, lackluster, and just plain boring, I decided to make my own!
Welcome to my portfolio of books. I update this website several times a week indicating new books I have finished and those that have sold.
Creating and binding books is a very old craft, each one is created with love and LOTS of time invested. You will see books in my portfolio that are “available” and those that are “sold.” Handmade in very small quantities, I rarely make more than 2 of any book. That keeps it interesting for me and allows me to explore different materials and types of bindings.
